Aurora Ghielmini was born in Lugano (Switzerland) in 1962 where she graduated in decorative arts at the CSIA (Centro Scolastico Industrie Artistiche); then she attended the Costume Academy of Rome, a town where she matured her activity as a painter and costume designer.
Her works have been exhibited in Lugano, Geneva, Rome and Vienna. Since 1992 she lives between the Swiss canton of Ticino and the Italian region Umbria. She is a member of VISARTE (Swiss Artist Society).
